गणेश चतुर्थी (Ganesh Chaturthi) का त्योहार इस साल 22 अगस्त शनिवार को मनाया जाएगा. गणेश चतुर्थी भारत में पूरे धूमधाम के साथ मनाया जाता है. गणेश चतुर्थी को विनायक चतुर्थी भी कहा जाता है. इस खास मौके पर भक्त घरों में गणपति की स्थापना करते हैं और अपनी श्रद्धा के अनुसार कुछ दिन बाद विसर्जन करते हैं.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that commemorates the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha. Hailed as Vighnaharta (the remover of obstacles), Lord Ganesha first came into being on the Chaturthi Tithi, Shukla Paksha in Bhadrapada. This festival is celebrated in the states of Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Goa. These days, people across the country, and even abroad celebrate this festival.
